The NMLS Renewal Period runs from November 1 to December 31 every year. Licensees with an MLO/NMLS endorsement may take CE any time during the year, but may only file their renewal during the Renewal Period.
California licensees with an MLO/NMLS endorsement also have a Late Renewal Period, which runs from January 1 to February 28 of the year after the endorsement expires. A late renewal fee is charged only to DOC licensees with MLO/NMLS endorsements.
